This is my installation of the FX-9590 into my system. I upgraded my processor from the FX-8350. I already had a Coolermaster Seidon 120XL Liquid Cooling system installed, so all I had to do was swap out the processor. This isn't a step by step in installing the FX-9590 with LCS, but it will give you a brief overview on the process.

Here are some of the freebies and swag items that I got at this year's SDCC. I didn't grab as much as I usually do. During other cons, I was grabbing every freebie that I saw. This year, I only grabbed what I really wanted. I got stuff from Team Coco, Nintendo, Star Wars, The Hunger Games, The Game of Thrones, and many others.

*AMD RedTeam+ Radeon Rig Build: The Memory AMD Performance Series RAM I knew I wanted at least 16GB of memory in this system. I could have taken my 2x16GB Radeon Gamer Series RAM from my 8350 system, but decided just to buy an extra 8GB to pair with an unused 2x4GB set I already had. The Gigabyte 990FXA-UD5 supports up to 1866mhz RAM anyways or up to 2000mhz over clocked. I figured that 4x4GB 1866mhz memory would be enough since my GPU will do most of the heavy lifting with its own dedicated 8GB of RAM. #AMD #Radeon #AMDRTP #RadeonRig #RAM #PerformanceSeries So far in my build: -XFX Radeon R9 295X2 GPU -AMD FX-9590 Processor w/ Liquid Cooling System -Fractal Design Core 3300 Computer Case -Gigabyte 990FXA-UD5 Motherboard -AMD Radeon R7 480GB Solid State Drive -Western Digital Blue 1TB Hard Disk Drive

*AMD RedTeam+ Radeon Rig Build: The Power Supply* EVGA Supernova 1300 G2 80 PLUS GOLD PSU Powerful hardware requires reliable powerful power. I originally wanted to go with a 1000w Fractal Design Newton R3 1000W PSU since I am a big fan of their products, but decided that I needed more power in case of any future upgrades that may require it. So I decided to go with this EVGA Supernova 1300 G2 Power Supply Unit. EVGA usually makes stuff for the other guy, but I decided to use this on a Team Red rig. One thing that sold me on it was the RED cables. Red cables to power AMD GPUs is just fitting. The biggest selling factor though was that it is fully modular. I only need to plug in the cables that I need to. This makes for greta cable management and therefore less heat in the case. Modular cables also make for good direct power to devices. The multi rail design allows for higher amperage power to one’s power hungry devices. My R9 2952 alone draws 500w of power requiring at least 28amps per 8pin cable. This PSU provides up to 108.3A on a single rail. While not quite 80 Plus Platinum like my other PSUs, an 80 Plus GOLD rating is still great for 90% energy efficiency. This PSU is pretty long, but because it is paired with the awesome Fractal Design Core 3300 case in my build, it doesn’t matter. The case still has lots of space for airflow. #AMD #Radeon #AMDRTP #RadeonRig #EVGA So far in my build: -XFX Radeon R9 295X2 GPU -AMD FX-9590 Processor w/ Liquid Cooling System -Fractal Design Core 3300 Computer Case -Gigabyte 990FXA-UD5 Motherboard -EVGA Supernova 1300 G2 PSU

AMD RedTeam+ Radeon Rig Build: The Case Fractal Design Core 3300 I'm already a big Fractal Design Fan. I own both a Define R4 and Arc Midi R2 Case as well as Fractal Design PSUs. I was happy to be able to have a chance to do a review on this cases it came just in time for my AMD RedTeam+ Radeon Rig Build. This case is aimed more towards the budget crowd while still retaining the high quality of Fractal Designs other cases. This case is mostly steel with the exception of the front part of the case, which is plastic made to look like brushed metal. At first glance, one would think it really is brushed metal. There are two USB 3.0 ports on the front as well as a headphone port, a microphone port, an LED HDD activity indicator, and power and reset switches. The case has an innovative type of mounting plates for SSDs and HDDs to be mounted "sideways" compared to normal cases where the drives are stacked. This allows for better airflow through the case. Once can mount 3 SSDs in the outside and 3 HDDs on the inside. There are also 2 places to mount SSDs behind the motherboard. Without the drives in the way, one can easily mount a larger water cooler in the front of the case. My build will have two water cooling systems. One cooling system for the CPU, and another for my GPU. Each radiator will have 2 fans in a push-pull configuration. That leaves 5 more spaces for me to install other fans. This case with the plates to mount the drives will allow for pretty good cable management. This build should look tight and clean by the time I finish it. One thing I wish for is a windowed panel. It was an easy fix though, I took the panel from my Arc Midi and placed it on the Core 3300. I can't wait to complete my build. Even though this case is aimed toward the budget crowd, I like the configuration and will keep my rig in it. I couldn't have chosen a better case for myself. I'm glad that this is the one I was sent. Sometimes the best decisions are the ones that are made for you. Thanks again Fractal Design. #AMD #Radeon #AMDRTP #RadeonRig #FractalDesign
