4. How To Identify Stock Market Direction (Trends) Part 1

06:25
Want to learn how to gauge the future price of your stock? Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wL0McpX-l0 Visit: https://www.learnapp.co ------------------------------------------------------- Learn To Trade - How MarketScientist works: http://marketscientist.in/how-marketscientist-works-faqs/ MarketScientist Courses: http://marketscientist.in/courses/ Follow Prateek's Trading day @ mentor posts : http://marketscientist.in/category/prateek-singh-s-analysistrades-resident-marketscientist/ ------------------------------------------------------------------ Transcript market direction is actually referred to in the technical world as "trends" So a stock moving upwards, is in an uptrend And a stock moving downwards is in a downtrend sometimes stocks reach in a no trade zone or a sideways and this happens because as soon as markets go up it forces a situation of supply and when markets fall down it forces a situation of demand coming in. This was seen in the earlier half of December 2012 on the nifty hourly charts. Lets move on, when we use concepts of supply and demand over long periods of time you must realise that psychology exists on all timeframes, Except of course in tick-charts; wherever you have good volume, markets will always behave in the same way if your concept is technically sound. So let's see how you can become your own amateur financial analyst, determining whether your stock that you are stuck in or making a profit, might continue to move up or might continue to move down. Si the first thing we are going to learn is about a rally and a decline A rally and decline are seen on a per bar basis, meaning we look at one bar and then the next. Simply put a rally is an upmove A Decline is simply a down move They together form something more important, which we will discuss later lets look at a rally first, So this is one bar this isn't enough information, the next bar breaks the previous bars high and this continues to happen Now you will notice that every bar is breaking the previous bars high and its also having a higher low. This means the market is in rally mode. Also remember in a real market situation this may not happen consecutively but a general move up is still considered a rally. A decline is just the opposite, and I'm sure intuitively u have understood what I'm about to draw here. So the market falling down each consecutive bar breaking the previous bars low and making a lower low every bar So that's very simple, here is another rally, which makes a new high and here is another decline. so now that we have that, you can see that we have formed a wave structure, markets will always move in waves, markets will never plunge down or move up unless it's an erratic day or days. Over general long periods of time, markets will always move in waves and this is very healthy. So now that we have understood a rally and decline let's move on to swing highs and a swing low. Simply put the meeting point of a rally an upmove and the immediate decline; this tent, mountain or this peak is called a swing high. the opposite of this is a swing low, meaning the meeting point of a decline and the immediate rally is a swing low. Now trends are made up of swing highs and lows, people call these by different names but all technicals follow this because a swing high is a naturally place of resistance, it basically means that the markets rallied hit a supply point, either buying diminished of too much selling happened and we fell, now the longer time frame between a swing high is untouched the more important it becomes. At MarketScientist we follow trend following methods/systems, so awhat we discuss in this video and the next is extremely important, if you don't understand please rewind or you can ask questions by emailing us or writing it in the comments below. Here is a real example of a chart, this chart belongs to nifty and it is basically in downtrend, but what we have to look now is the swing highs and swing lows. I want you to take am moment and try to find the latest swing highs u can see here I'm helping you a bit and marking all of the swing highs on this chart. I've marked them with green circles. Next step is to identify swing lows, now before we proceed I want you to pause and take your time and look at the swing highs and know that you have understood this. We are basically looking for peaks (swing highs) and crests (swing lows). I'm marking the first the swing lows for you and I want you to mark the resting your head or write it down somewhere. Pause this video and find out all the swing lows, we will meet in the next video with the answers.... I'll be waiting for you then.

A Must See Stock Market Video!!!

03:58
European stocks ended mostly higher on Thursday as the European Central Bank lowered interest rates. The Stoxx Europe 600 index XX:SXXP +0.32% rose 0.3% to 297.88. Most European markets were closed Wednesday for the May Day holiday. Click to Play ECB lowers interest rates The European Central Bank cut its main interest rate to a new low of 0.50% in an attempt to drag the euro zone out of the longest recession in its history. European stocks saw little initial reaction to news the ECB cut its benchmark rate by 25 basis points to 0.5%. Stocks rose after upbeat U.S. data, but then dropped as ECB President Mario Draghi began speaking at a news conference. Stocks recovered some ground in step with U.S. market gains. Speaking to reporters, Draghi said the ECB's policy would remain accommodative, and it stands ready to act. He said weak economic data extended into spring and labor-market conditions remain sluggish. Stephen Pope, managing partner at Spotlight Ideas, said some investors were disappointed that the ECB hasn't done anything to "generate an expansionary monetary base." "Rates should have been reduced far earlier and today, we should be looking at 25 basis points as the rate, not 50 basis points. Monetary growth, i.e. an explicit reflation of the balance sheet should be sanctioned," said Pope, but he said the German Bundesbank would likely block that. Reuters Enlarge Image ECB President Mario Draghi The ECB also cut the interest rate on the marginal lending facility by 50 basis points to 1.00%, but analysts said this would merely encourage banks to lend and not impact the real economy. "All things considered, the one thing to take from this is that the ECB has done nothing that is going to improve circumstances in the short term," said Craig Erlam, market analyst at Alpari U.K. Data ahead of the ECB meeting showed euro-zone manufacturing activity contracted at a slower-than-forecast pace in April, with the manufacturing PMI falling slightly to 46.7 from 46.8 in March, according to Markit. German output contracted for the first time in 2013. Analysts at Credit Suisse wrote in a note that any rate cut would largely not affect European banks, "in part because we do not see it as sufficient to have an impact on the current negative macro background." However, they predicted that Spanish and Italian banks would be most negatively hit by a rate cut, seeing up to 6% of 2014 earnings potentially at risk. Shares of Banco Santander SA ES:SAN -0.20% fell 0.2% in Madrid, dragging Spain's IBEX 35 index XX:IBEX -0.15% XX:IBEX -0.15% south by 0.2% to 8,406.40. Italy's FTSE MIB index XX:FTSEMIB -0.12% fell 0.1% to 16,748.28, with UniCredit SpA IT:UCG -0.30% dropping 0.3%. The Credit Suisse analysts said they remain cautious on peripheral banks, but retain a market perform rating on higher-quality names that offer superior cash flow potential, including HSBC PLC HBC +0.64% UK:HSBA +0.51% , BNP Paribas SA FR:BNP +1.32% , Société Générale SA FR:GLE +0.73% and Julius Baer Gruppe AG CH:BAER +0.13% CH:BAER +0.13% CH:BAER +0.13% In Oslo trade, Statoil SA NO:STL -3.91% shares fell nearly 4% after the Norwegian oil and gas company said first-quarter profit sank 58%, missing forecasts, as production volumes and prices fell. France's CAC 40 index FR:PX1 +0.05% finished up 0.1% at 3,858.76. Capgemini FR:CAP +7.66% shares rose nearly 8% after the computer services company said it was backing its 2013 outlook despite the "difficult economic climate." But heavyweight oil major Total SA TOT -0.06% FR:FP -0.97% dropped 1%. The German DAX 30 index DX:DAX +0.61% rose 0.6% to 7,961.71, with heavyweight bank Commerzbank AG DE:CBK +3.72% up 4.1%. Shares of Infineon Technologies AG DE:IFX +9.28% surged nearly 10% after the semiconductor maker said it expects higher revenues and margins for 2013, due to market growth and recovering demand for autos. The U.K.'s FTSE 100 index UK:UKX +0.15% gained 0.2% to 6,460.71. Shares of BG Group PLC UK:BG +4.27% rose 4.3% after the oil and natural gas company reported a 0.8% fall in net profit for the first quarter, but said it was on track to meet project milestones for this year.

What Is Leverage? Forex Leverage Explained - Forex Trading

03:25
http://goo.gl/bRKoqt - Click Link To Open A Free eToro Forex Account. https://www.casinoeurope.club - Best Online Casinos For The Europe Market. What is leverage in Forex trading? Traders in Forex trade a contract of currency exchange rates. As the movement of currency rates can be very small, traders use leverage to increase their profit potential. Here is a step-by-step, practical example: You decide to open a contract for trade and it has these elements in it: The currency pair for trading -- e.g. EUR/USD The direction of the trade -- BUY euro and SELL US dollars The price -- say 1.3500 The contract value -- EUR 100,000 As the trader, you purchase this contract, believing you will profit once you close (offset) the contract. If you are right (for example: the rate increased to 1.3600), then you would profit: for every euro in this contract you made profit of 1 US cent. In total, the profit would be $1,000 (100,000 x 1 cent). However, do you need ALL the EUR 100,000 to open this contract? The answer is: NO. You can LEVERAGE the trading: the trader is required to risk, for example, only 1:100 of the contract value. Accordingly, for a contract of 100,000 only $1,000 is needed. However, if there was loss, and the value of the WHOLE contact dropped to 99,000, then the deal is automatically closed, since the "guarantee" made by the trader was only $1,000. With leverage, you have more money to use for trading than the balance in your account because you can 'leverage" what you do have -- that means you use what you have to increase the amount you can trade and to increase your profit when you succeed in trading in the right direction of a currency pair. On the other side, when there is a loss: the higher the leverage, the quicker you are subject to automatic closure of your deal. source: easy-forex http://www.pipsandspreads.com http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OVn8fAMAh6U

Markets.com Review - Is Markets.com Scam

✔ Markets.com $50.000 Demo ► http://bit.ly/Marketcom ✔ Make $400 a day [Demo Available] ► http://2by.us/money The foreign exchange market (forex, FX, or currency market) is a global decentralized market for the trading of currencies. The main participants in this market are the larger international banks. Financial centers around the world function as anchors of trading between a wide range of different types of buyers and sellers around the clock, with the exception of weekends. Electronic Broking Services (EBS) and Reuters 3000 Xtra are two main interbank FX trading platforms. The foreign exchange market determines the relative values of different currencies. The foreign exchange market works through financial institutions, and it operates on several levels. Behind the scenes banks turn to a smaller number of financial firms known as "dealers," who are actively involved in large quantities of foreign exchange trading. Most foreign exchange dealers are banks, so this behind-the-scenes market is sometimes called the "interbank market", although a few insurance companies and other kinds of financial firms are involved. Trades between foreign exchange dealers can be very large, involving hundreds of millions of dollars.[citation needed] Because of the sovereignty issue when involving two currencies, Forex has little (if any) supervisory entity regulating its actions. The foreign exchange market assists international trade and investment by enabling currency conversion. For example, it permits a business in the United States to import goods from the European Union member states, especially Eurozone members, and pay euros, even though its income is in United States dollars. It also supports direct speculation in the value of currencies, and the carry trade, speculation based on the interest rate differential between two currencies. In a typical foreign exchange transaction, a party purchases some quantity of one currency by paying some quantity of another currency. The modern foreign exchange market began forming during the 1970s after three decades of government restrictions on foreign exchange transactions (the Bretton Woods system of monetary management established the rules for commercial and financial relations among the world's major industrial states after World War II), when countries gradually switched to floating exchange rates from the previous exchange rate regime, which remained fixed as per the Bretton Woods system. ✔ Make $400 a day [Demo Available] ► http://2by.us/money The foreign exchange market (forex, FX, or currency market) is a global decentralized market for the trading of currencies. The foreign exchange market determines the relative values of different currencies.[1] The foreign exchange market works through financial institutions, and it operates on several levels. It also supports direct speculation in the value of currencies, and the carry trade, speculation based on the interest rate differential between two currencies.[2] In a typical foreign exchange transaction, a party purchases some quantity of one currency by paying some quantity of another currency. Learn currency trading

Learn currency trading Forex market is the best place to make the investment and you can earn serious cash from this trillion dollar industry if done right. Subscribe to our newsletter to get the best tips for it and learn currency trading and get a free ebook to get started. Learn currency trading Want To Be A Forex Success? Check Out These Tips! Trading with Forex isn't as confusing as you might think. Just like anything else, forex can be confusing without the proper research ahead of time. The advice you'll be given here will put you on the road to success as you begin trading in the foreign exchange market. When you are just starting your journey into the Forex market, do not try to stand against market trends. Taking a contrarian position against the overall momentum of the market can - occasionally - pay off, but the patience and investment required to make it so are quite beyond the neophyte Forex trader. When trading in foreign currencies, it's important to watch the news factors that affect changes in that currency. News that indicates a positive trend in that country, such as a favorable trade agreement, will increase the trading power of that currency, while news that indicates negative trends, such as a natural disaster, will reduce its trading power. Don't overpay for forex trading services. Most brokerage firms that offer forex trading do so for a no-commission basis, which means the profits are higher to you than for commissioned stock trading. While there is always someone to pay in investments, forex can be an option which requires less of an initial pay-out from you. To protect yourself from fraud, thoroughly research any Forex trader. Forex scams are plentiful, and taking the time to check people out can protect your money. If you're pressed for time, you can do a quick search of the trader and see what kind of commentary you find. If you see negative commentary or if the trader is not being discussed, you should avoid them. Forex trading is essentially a form of gambling and should be treated as such when managing your money. Only risk the amount of money that you can afford to lose and plan for the possibility of loss. This ensures that you will not lose money intended for bills and savings and lets you trade with more confidence. You should only trade with Forex if this is something you really want to do. Going after Forex as an easy career opportunity or because you desperately need the money will make you one of the 85% of investors who go broke. You should trade with Forex because it's something you truly want to do and for no other reason. Learn how to analyze the market. With experience, you will be able to notice how things work and predict what is going to happen. You will build up this knowledge as you experience with Forex. Do not rely on your analysis at first: wait until you have gained enough experience with Forex. A useful tip for anyone new to the forex world is to analyze actual performance carefully and regularly. It is important to become familiar with price trends, trading methods and other fundamentals, but it is equally crucial to use one's actual transactional experience to learn from mistakes as well as from victories. By maintaining detailed trading records it will be possible to refine an overall strategy to achieve optimum success. If you're new at forex, make sure you start with a mini-account and don't play with too much money. Allow for a learning curve so you can learn the market and minimize your losses when you're just starting out. It can be tempting to jump in completely, but give yourself time to learn the ropes. To make money in foreign exchange trading, it is necessary to check the conditions of a certain currency before making a trade. This can be done by reading various news and political data associated to the country you choose to trade with. A country's currency is usually a reflection of the country itself. Do not take big risks. Try to limit your risks to two or three percent of your entire trading account. You may find that you will lose 10-15 trades consecutively and if you bank more money than a small percentage, you will find yourself out of the game before you even get started. As was stated in the beginning of the article, trading with Forex is only confusing for those who do not do their research before beginning the trading process. If you take the advice given to you in the above article, you will begin the process of becoming educated in Forex trading.
