First of all I would like to thank all my clients and friends for being there for another wonderful year!! Also, to our amazing staff and field agents!! We have all been very busy this year. Our team has become ever stronger. We take great pride in our ethics, work habits, outstanding local expertise. 2017 our relationships have strengthened even further. During this year, our referrals of buyers from US agents were at an all-time high, all with the same scenario: - "I have a client selling their home in the US and they would like to re-locate to Rosarito”. Once again, the ability of Americans to take advantage of high US home prices have been good for both retirees and for our Mexico Real Estate. This is not a new trend. It has been steadily increasing over the last 5 years. This year we have seen a big upswing of buyers moving straight from their US home into their new home in Mexico. Fully retired. We do not see this trend changing in 2018 Realtor. Com recently published an article on the US housing market prices, acknowledging high home price and while a price correction could be in order they don’t see a bubble anytime soon. Favorable pricing allowing many retires the ability to relocate near the ocean with money in the bank. 2017 has also been a good year for sellers in Rosarito. Sellers are taking advantage of the market demands, experiencing less time on the market and sometimes reaching close to our even full asking price. Getting our listing to market is not just taking fabulous photos, sending out lots of newsletter and being available for showings. Each one of our listings has a different strategy. From pricing, to which Agent we choose to represent the property, and most important and as always… we are keenly focused sellers paperwork. We made an important strategic move whereby Baja Real Estate Group joined forces with an Ensenada Real estate company, Baja Premier Properties. Mimi Mills and her staff of experienced real estate agents are now under the Baja Real Estate Group marketing umbrella. Because of our strengthened presence in Bajamar, we secured the exclusive listing for sales at Santa Barbara at Bajamar, a premier boutique residential development located on the ocean view golf course at Bajamar. We were very proud to have inked the first two sales within our 1st 30 days. We will also continue to develop our strong US Broker referral program. We will continue to host these Agents throughout the year, providing insightful tours of the area. During these lasts several challenging years we have adapted to changes in the market and are now stronger and even better positioned. We have learned from these times and have found new ways of reaching our prospective clients through open house videos, educational seminars, and very robust social media programs. ROSARITO BEACH, BAJA CALIFORNIA. On Sunday, June 8th. HGTV's House Hunters International aired an episode that featured a couple looking to buy a home in Rosarito Beach. Kathy Katz, Baja Real Estate Group's Broker, was given the mission to look for the perfect home for this couple. It all started at Susanna's Restaurant in Downtown Rosarito Beach where Kathy met them. Brunela and Jaime Iribarren where looking to buy an ocean view home that could accommodate their two beautiful daughters, Jaime's passion for surfing and all of this while working with a very specific budget. Location and a compromise on lifestyle amenities where the key factors. In the end, Kathy delivered and after browsing the market the Iribarrens made up their minds for the private beachfront community of Las Gaviotas. Here they found all the amenities they where looking for, a beach perfect for surfing and beautiful beachfront home for the right price. Now, the Iribarrens, Kathy Katz, the Baja Real Estate Group team along with friends, family and neighbors gathered on Mule 61 Restaurant to watch this episode airing.
