Hey mate I got a question, where does the 8pin cord connect? Mines currently up the top but has a cord already in it. When I install mine it doesn't display.. could you possibly help me?
sloppywetblow (1 year ago)
Hey bud I do not own the card any longer but just look if the cards exactly the same and attach the 8 pin or 6 pin from power supply as needed
Juan Andres (2 years ago)
Hi, how did you turn off the XFX led logo?
sloppywetblow (2 years ago)
There is none on the card you are commenting to..my other RX 580 did light up red but not this card

what's the purpose of the cable with it comes? I'm building 5 XFX Rx 580 on a Corsair 1200i, I only have 2x 8 pin to 6+2 + 6+2. then I only have 8 to 6+2. is the cable in the XFX box usefull??
sloppywetblow (2 years ago)
this card was a dud so i returned it but i think you need 8 pin and 6 pin if i remember
Roque Roldán (2 years ago)
sloppywetblow thanks mate for your fast reply, so you think is possible to run it with one 8 pin only? I'm running 2 of them with a 8+6 pin, but I only have two of this cables lol, then I have 8 pin cables
sloppywetblow (2 years ago)
Only useful if you do not have a 8 pin connector..the one is a 6pin to 8 pin connector.but all modern power supply's should have many 8 pin connectors

Hey man! I just saw your Fallout 4 GTX 1080Ti 4k video and you were getting 60FPS! I also have a GTX1080Ti but I can't even keep 60FPS in cities at 1920x1080! Please help!
sloppywetblow (2 years ago)
The city area FPS has drastic FPS fluctuations so I wouldn't sweat it

sloppywetblow (2 years ago)

Stoica Gabriel (2 years ago)
mine with factory clock 1405mhz crash in every game and i drop the power limit to -10 and ai rise the clock at 1425mhz and now i have no problems with crash.i hope i helpt you
WideAwakeism (2 years ago)
I hear you. I've been rooting for AMD for quite a while, even thought about investing in some shares. Nvidia/Intel gets boring after a while.
sloppywetblow (2 years ago)
It's unbelievable..I have no luck when it comes to them..I tried re-installing drivers.unclocking the card..shutting off Afterburner..lowering power limit.and 3 different games at different resolutions would crash the game but would still have sound for like 10 seconds with black screen then Pc would hang..ThT problem is a driver issue.and i did absolutely clean installs twice..I always wanna love AMD products but for me they always run like shit
WideAwakeism (2 years ago)
+sloppywetblow That blows, man... oh well, you did your job 😎
IndustrialGamer (2 years ago)
My boy has a RX 480 and it performs very well at 1080p. There is some odd frame time spikes which I think is some sort of AMD issue rather than game issues. His card is an XFX as well and the 8GB version. It runs very cool and is factory overclocked! Hope this card ends up being promising bro.
sloppywetblow (2 years ago)
It was a lemon the new Xfx Black Crimson edition is awesome
sloppywetblow (2 years ago)
Bro I dropped it to -50 as I had read suggestions on forums and it crashes.i tried everything returning it today..
Stoica Gabriel (2 years ago)
you need to drop the power limit in wattman to -20.and no crash ever again
sloppywetblow (2 years ago)
Yeah it sucks it just crashes every time..will bring it back and try another card
cakins1986 (2 years ago)
I think you got a lemon of a card if you're having that much trouble with it. The 480s/580s are great for the price and better than 1060s in most games.
Panop (2 years ago)
A 1440p budget gaming card for someone who can't afford or does not wish to buy a 1070. I wanna see it runs BF1 at 1440p in which in should easily get above 60 fps especially in DX12.
